Import Formats

Import Formats

SkySync supports a myriad of file formats:

Documents:

  • Supported Formats: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .odt, .txt, etc.

  • Tips for Importing: Ensure document formatting consistency by using universally accepted formats like .docx or .pdf.

Spreadsheets:

  • Supported Formats: .xls, .xlsx, .ods, etc.

  • Converting to Compatible Formats: If your spreadsheet is in an unsupported format, consider tools like LibreOffice or Google Sheets for conversion.

Images:

  • Supported Formats: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, etc.

  • Optimization: Before importing, compress large images to save storage space without compromising quality.

Export Formats

Exporting data is equally straightforward:

Documents:

  • Supported Formats: .docx, .pdf, .odt, .rtf, etc.

  • Choosing an Export Format: Consider your audience. If unsure, .pdf is a universally accessible format.

Spreadsheets:

  • Supported Formats: .xlsx, .ods, .csv, etc.

  • Data Integrity: Ensure that formulas and cell references remain intact post-export, especially when switching between formats.

Images:

  • Supported Formats: .jpg, .png, etc.

  • Resolution Choices: When exporting, you may be prompted to select the resolution or quality. Choose based on the intended use of the image.
